President Obama’s new talking point is that there isn’t much competition in the insurance marketplace and therefore companies are raising prices because their customers can’t go anyplace else.

The President’s use of this point is understandable, and if he would take a moment to understand the ramifications of this point versus the reality of his proposed solution then his reforms might start moving in a new direction.
