Alzheimer’s disease is becoming one of the defining health care challenges facing American families. New polling conducted by Fabrizio Ward shows overwhelming bipartisan support for improving access to early Alzheimer’s detection, diagnosis, and treatment through Medicare and private insurance coverage.

The survey of voters nationwide — including key battleground states like Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania — found that voters are deeply concerned about insurance and Medicare restrictions preventing patients from receiving FDA-cleared tests and FDA-approved treatments recommended by their doctors. The findings also reveal near-unanimous support for the ASAP Act and strong agreement that doctors, not insurance companies, should make treatment decisions.
